Methods to get to
The Drake is located at Michigan Avenue and Walton Street at the north end of the Magnificent Mile.
The Official MBAA International overflow hotel, The Millennium Knickerbocker, is located across from The Drake on Walton Street.

Arriving by Air:
from O'Hare
The Blue line will take you into the city. You will need to transfer to the Red Line at Washington (in the Loop), and take the North bound Red Line train (Howard) to the Chicago Avenue exit (Look for elevators and escalators between platforms to make bag carrying easier).
Walk 3 blocks towards the lake (East) and follow Michigan Avenue left (North) 4 blocks to
The Drake.

To return to O'Hare, take the Red Line South (Dan Ryan) and reverse the previous directions.

Exiting from the Adams Street exit, walk 4 blocks towards the lake (East) and at the Elevated go South on Wells to the Quincy Station. Take the Orange line around the Loop and Transfer to the Red Line (at State), and take the North bound Red Line train (Howard) to the Chicago Avenue exit (Look for elevators and escalators between platforms to make bag carrying easier).

There are several Public Garages near the Drake as well that are less expensive (Follow Walton Street West past Michigan).
From the North, Northwest, or O'Hare Airport:
Follow I-90 / 94 East. Exit at Ohio Street (exit #50B, one-way eastbound). Follow Ohio Street 3/4 mile to Michigan Avenue and turn left (north). Go north eight blocks to the north end of Michigan and turn right at Oak Street. You may valet your car there at the Oak Street entrance, or you may follow Oak Street around and make a right on Walton and arrive at the main Walton Street hotel entrance.
From the West:
Follow I-88 East to I-290 East. I-290 becomes Congress Parkway and intersects with Michigan Avenue. Turn left on Michigan Avenue and go two miles to Oak Street and make a right. You may valet your car there at the Oak Street entrance, or you may follow Oak Street around and make a right on Walton and arrive at the main Walton Street hotel entrance.
From the South or Midway Airport:
Follow I-55 or I-57 North to I-94 West to Chicago. Exit I-94 at Ohio Street (exit #50B) and follow directions above from Ohio Street.
